Casual Open Play - 5/21/26

Join us for a relaxed evening of American Mahjong open play designed for players who already know the basics and want to practice, improve, or simply enjoy the game with others. Must have basic Mahjong play knowledge!

This is not a formal lesson—just friendly play at an inviting pace. Participants should already be comfortable with tile names, turn order, and reading the NMJL card. Please bring your NMJL card (2026 and 2025, if you have it). We will have a limited number to lend out. No formal guidance will be provided, but questions and learning are encouraged! Have an American Mahjong set you're willing to bring for open play? Sometimes we need extras—let us know if you have one and, if needed, we'll comp part of your registration fee.
